Finally, blogspot has come to the conclusion that my blog is not spam. Now I can actually post something. Thanks Blogspot. Anyway...
"Trust thyself: every heart vibrates to that iron string." Personally, this statement is easy for me to understand but not for me to do. Trusting myself is probably one of the most difficult tasks I think for most people whether it be in the classroom, speaking your own mind in general conversations, or in any other activity. Putting your thoughts and feelings out there in the public (like on blogs) is pretty taunting and in ways challenging. Emerson says to not be afraid on how others judge you which is true because if we never had differences and only followed one person's views on everything then there would be not diversity or uniqueness. Everybody's values and truths lies within themselves. The public views should not dictate one's life. If we all just followed one person where would the world be now? Would we have a mob society like 1984?
